It examines the current technologies for electric vehicles and charging stations, exploring various scenarios based on consumer behavior. The economic advantages of transitioning to EVs will be analyzed, encompassing direct economic savings for consumers and sector-wide economic benefits for the country. Additionally, the paper will quantify the annual and long-term environmental benefits (CO2 emissions reduction) resulting from this energy transition and will discuss the social benefits associated with increased use of EVs. The capacity-building activities necessary to support the EV supply chain will be evaluated.
