Abstract:
| Hungary introduced its Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme in 2021, which has undergone a number of changes over the years based on experience. The first auction of the organized secondary market took place in 2024, and the legislative environment has also undergone dynamic changes to enable Hungary to meet its energy efficiency and CO2 targets. This presentation will explain how the system works, the current changes and, through the speaker’s personal views, the next steps that need to be taken. |
