Efficient HVAC systems are vital for energy-intensive enterprises striving to reduce operational costs and meet sustainability goals. This session will focus on leveraging advanced fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) to optimize HVAC performance across enterprise facilities by showcasing two primary use cases: building energy optimization and Measurement and Verification (M&V).We will explore practical strategies for integrating FDD into enterprise HVAC systems and scaling across large portfolios. Real-world “virtual” case studies from MSD and GK Norway will highlight the specific ways these two organizations are using FDD to:

Building Energy Optimization: Learn how FDD software continuously monitors HVAC systems, identifying inefficiencies and faults that can lead to energy waste in real time. Early detection allows for timely interventions, resulting in significant energy savings and improved system performance.

Measurement and Verification (M&V): FDD enables precise tracking of HVAC system performance against design and identifies deviations from expected performance, allowing for early detection and correction of issues. This ensures energy projects meet their goals, providing transparency and accountability.

Attendees will gain actionable knowledge on how leading organizations are using FDD to achieve savings and contribute to broader carbon reduction initiatives in a fast-evolving energy landscape.

Speaker Bio

Antoine Vandyck is the Operation & Engineering Lead for Europe at Clockworks Analytics, where he oversees the implementation of advanced data-driven solutions for energy efficiency. With over a decade of experience in energy management and digital services, Antoine has a proven track record in driving sustainability initiatives and optimizing operational performance across industries.
Previously, Antoine held several roles at Siemens, including Digital Services Consultant, where he defined customer needs and KPIs, led pilot projects, and managed the global rollout of energy efficiency programs. His expertise spans predictive maintenance, fault detection and diagnostics (FDD), as well as data modeling and helping organizations harness the full potential of their facilities. Antoine also has experience in project management and energy consulting, having worked at Amstein+Walthert and Bouygues Energies & Services.

Antoine is dedicated to driving efficiency in smart buildings and combines technical expertise with a strategic approach to sustainability and energy optimization.
