Session A1: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Energy Management

April 23, 2025 | 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Power Play: Using Gamification to Optimize Operations and Production of Energy

Gamification, the application of game mechanics to non-gaming contexts, is transforming the energy industry by enhancing engagement, improving decision-making, and driving operational efficiency. This presentation explores the science behind gamification, including its roots in behavioral psychology and its capacity to inspire motivation and collaboration in workplace settings.

By incorporating elements like progress tracking, reward systems, and collaborative competition, gamification shifts organizational focus from task compliance to goal-oriented achievement. Real-world examples will illustrate its impact on critical areas such as field service workflows, asset lifecycle management, and production optimization, demonstrating how this approach fosters measurable performance improvements.

Through case studies, we’ll examine the practical applications and outcomes of gamification in energy operations. Attendees will gain actionable insights into designing gamified systems that not only boost productivity but also promote innovation and adaptability within their teams. ResNet AI’s platform serves as a key example of how gamification frameworks have been successfully implemented to achieve sustainable operational excellence in the energy sector.
