Ian Boylan

Ian Boylan is an active member of the ISO TC 301 committee that developed the ISO 50001 Standard. He is also an AEE former President and Board Member, and is the current Chair of the AEE Global Training Committee.
Ian received the prestigious ISO Excellence award in 2022, with the award stating "In recognition of his excellent service to ISO TC301 and, in particular for his championing the dual role of auditor and client, ensuring that energy excellence was present in every aspect of the development and publication of the 2021 revision of ISO 50003, Energy Management Systems; Requirements for bodies providing audits and certifications of Energy Management System. His persistence was key in achieving the successful publication.

Ian is also an AEE instructor in CEM, CEA, CMVP and ISO 50001 CP and is chairperson of the AEE ISO 50001 CP Certification committee amongst many other roles as a volunteer within AEE.
