Speaker Bio
Josh is a Scottish climate & energy policy advisor, with a passion for ensuring that people and place are at the heart of global energy transition frameworks. He is currently pursuing his PhD, in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA), on the net-zero labour force and skills energy transition.
He has extensive international experience as an IEA people-centred analyst, and acclaimed UN-SDG youth energy ambassador & negotiator for Europe and North America. Josh continues to represent the UK as a UNFCCC youth delegate, and often partners with various organisations, such as the Scottish Government, the Open University, and SDG7 Youth Constituency, to advocate for place-based approaches to clean energy transitions.
Josh is always open to new opportunities and collaborations that align with his values and goals of empowering the voices of young people to ensure an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future for all.
