April 23, 2025 | 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Shifting the Narrative in Energy Efficiency Retrofits: From costs to value-add opportunities
| This presentation will explore how to transform energy retrofit projects into profitable, actionable business cases that drive value for both landlords and tenants. By leveraging advanced financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and compliance with industry standards like CRREM, we will demonstrate how to shift the narrative and uncover clear pathways to profitability while mitigating transition risks.Through real-life case studies, including partnerships with leading companies like EVORA, we’ll showcase how Superowner bridges the gap between the technical expertise of engineers and the financial priorities of asset managers. We will address the complexities of financing, rental restructuring, and tenant negotiations, illustrating how aligning energy efficiency with financial strategy supports both decarbonization and financial returns.
Attendees will gain insights into how financial feasibility and energy efficiency can be integrated to achieve net zero targets without compromising on profitability. Whether optimizing tenant metrics or incorporating government incentives, we will explain scenario planning and project-specific insights that offer robust solutions for decarbonization. This session is designed for energy managers and sustainability leaders with a technical background, providing examples and insights to help bridge the gap between technical expertise and financial decision-making. Attendees will leave better equipped to align energy efficiency measures with financial strategy and persuade their clients to advance their energy transition initiatives. |
