Navigating ESG and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)

Raoul Empey will deliver a presentation on the growing requirements for businesses to provide comprehensive Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) or sustainability risk disclosures. In particular, Raoul will focus on the requirement for 55,000 companies across the EU to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) which came into force in January 2023.

Raoul will provide a sense of context and direction for companies that trade globally, outline the multiple requirements and challenges of ESG reporting, as well as an understanding of supply-chain and what is driving these reporting requirements. He will discuss how to approach double materiality, assurance and the suite of European Sustainability Reporting Standards. The presentation aims to reflect on what is driving ESG reporting in your country and will be an engaging and interactive experience.
