Focusing on residential, office, and commercial buildings using various heating systems, the work introduces an Energy Reduction Unit (ERU) designed to decrease energy use and GHG emissions during heating cycles. Preliminary tests and a mathematical model demonstrate that the ERU reduces energy consumption and GHG emissions by 28% to 35% while maintaining necessary heating levels. Its adaptable design\u00a0<span class=\"markgeyej7tjr\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">al<\/span>lows integration into\u00a0<span class=\"markgeyej7tjr\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">al<\/span>l existing heating systems without modification.
